Britcom Direct SRL, headquarters based in Bucharest, Romania, includes the 5000 sqm, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified refurbishing factory capable of processing 90,000 pieces per month, working both Lohn or purchased goods, an international (EMEA) wholesale division and a division trading new surplus out of catalogue stock.

Britcom takes the environment very seriously. We recycle every piece of unrepairrable equipment through our partner Stena DTM, member of Stena Metall Grup, worldwide player and Europeean leader in recycling and environmental services, present in 10 Europeean countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy and Romania.

ChoiceBrand.co.uk is an E-Retailer of professionally refurbished products, with HQ in Somerset UK, very active on UK online market with plans to develop regionally within Western Europe.


ChoiceBrand.ro is an E-retailer based in Bucharest, that has grown rapidly in this emerging online market. It has plans to further develop in Eastern Europe.

Britcom's roadmap

Britcom started business in 1996 refurbishing British Telecom & Binatone fixed line telephone. With 26 production lines we are now Europe’s largest recipient and processor of small domestic appliances. We also have a number of of other engineers dedicated to the re-work of a large range of other categories of electrical items including DVD players, MP3, Digital Photo Frames, LCD TV.

We are a young, dynamic, enthusiastic and intelligent team and our business behavior is driven by trust, quality, environmental commitment and commercial satisfaction for our partners.

Since June 2009 we have been ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified. With the responsibility and together with our management system, this further ensures quality products for our partners.

Key points about processing

We have a modern factory, refurbishing facility, warehouse and office space equating of 5000 sqm.

Our production capability is 90,000 pieces of finished goods / month.

Currently we employ 215 personnel, including 30 highly skilled engineers. Each line has received specific instruction in the remanufacturing process from various UK experts, in the form of intensive training courses specific to each customer / supplier.

We have a complete QC system according with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
