January 2010: Production lines re-organization and efficientization complete. We increased our production capacity to 90.000 finished goods per month.
December 2009: business growth during tough times Economic recession affected a lot of companies during 2009. We managed to develop our business and post our third successful year of profit. We added both new suppliers and clients and improved all our processes and systems.
November 2009: E-tailing our business We finalized rebranding our online stores Choicebrand UK and Choicebrand Romania. Both websites include a whole array of customer oriented features and are fully optimized for a smooth buying experience.
October 2009: Retail Store in Bucharest We opened our first retail store in Bucharest. Location & Pictures
September 2009: New vacuum cleaners from Dirt Devil Dirt Devil, Team UKI, Argoss Cookworks, Aldi - Quiqq and Inotec, Bialetti and Girmi. All these brands are now available in our product portfolio.
August 2009: New product line A new supplier Toolstream has chosen Britcom to refurbish and sell their products. Also added to our product portfolio are Silverline home and gardening tools and Laica home weighting and personal care equipment.
July 2009: ISO Certification and new selling system Following a complex examination of process flows, Britcom has been audited and certified for ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance. We have also implemented a new selling system. We’re now using as a reference price the updated RRP's and we also provide preconfigured pallets discounted according to the grade & mix of the products.
June 2009: New corporate identity We began a process of rebranding in order to reflect our green values. Britcom Group is deeply connected in all 3 out of 3 Rs in the recycling-reuse-reduce waste management hierachy. We provide WEEE compliance services and we supply professionally refurbished products for re-use.
May 2009: New product line We offer Samsung LCD-TV’s 22” to 40” refurbished.
April 2009: New markets Britcom is now distributed on the following markets: Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia.
March 2009: New product line Digital Cordless (DECT) Phones and microwave owens from Panasonic were added to our range. Expanding our product portfolio is a priority for our customers.
February 2009: New product line Sony Vaio Laptops, refurbished, discounted 33% vs. retail prices. Our professionally refurbished laptops offer now includes the following brands: HP Pavilion, Dell, and Acer.
January 2009 Our graded Morphy Richards, DeLonghi, Kenwood, Philips and SEB (Tefal, Moulinex, Krups, Rowenta) products are now available for sale on our new UK online shop www.choicebrand.co.uk.
October 2008 Britcom has now moved all their operations in their newly constructed 4500 sqm factory in Bucharest.
July 2008 Britcom has entered in an agreement close with Group SEB HQ and is now their official partner for processing their pan-European customer returns. Products from Group SEB are to be refurbished in Britcom newly established factory and then returned to Group SEB.
June 2008 Britcom and Kenwood-Delonghi have entered in a partnership. Britcom will be buying all the UK customer returns from Kenwood-Delonghi and refurbish them in their newly established factory in Romania.
February 2008 Britcom has now signed a contract with Morphy Richards to buy and process their UK customer returns.
January 2008 Britcom have designed & commissioned the construction of a new modern factory in excess of 4,500 Sq M’s. The whole operations will be moved starting with October 2008.
December 2007 Factory and headquarter visit from DSG international plc (aka DSGi). Formerly Dixons Stores Group plc, is one of the largest consumer electronics retailers in Europe. The company operates the Dixons, Dixons Tax Free, Currys, Currys.digital and PC World stores along with many other brands across Europe. Both companies are analyzing the atttraction of a future partnership whereby Britcom would refurbish a range of high end electronic items returned by Dixons customer’s within 28 days.

September 2007Britcom has shipped our first trial lots to the following new markets – Tanzania, Pakistan, Afghanistan & Ivory Coast & are pleased to announce that Britcom now exports it's products into 11 markets.

August 2007 Britcom is now extending our non small domestic appliances processing operation from BT telephones to also include Philips MP3 players, Digital photo frames & also LCD TV.
Received QA auditor from SEB UK who concluded that “the Britcom operation in terms of layout, personnel, function and documentation, is one of the best I have seen in many years.”
